About Robin

My husband Mike and I along with our youngest daughter relocated to Western NC in the Hendersonville area in 1998.  We are fifth generation Floridians but when visiting the area we fell in love with the beautiful mountains, change of seasons, small town feel of the Henderson County area, ambiance of the community, friendliness of the people and decided to relocate here.  Western NC has so much to offer and we plan on calling this home for a long time.

I received my BSBA marketing degree from Western North Carolina University and have previously worked in the architectural/construction industry for many years.  This background has been very beneficial to me when I decided to become a REALTOR® and I'm proud to say that in my first year as a REALTOR® I was a Multi-Million Dollar Producer and have continued the trend.  I have since obtained my Broker license and the National Association of REALTORs e-Pro (internet Savvy) Certification to help me better serve our on line clients and customers.

I strongly agree with the importance of continuing education in real estate matters to stay up to date on current trends in the market and to assist me in providing quality service to clients and customers.  I specialize and am knowledgeable in residential, commercial and land transactions in 9 counties of the Western NC area that we service.  I enjoy working with people and providing the best service to facilitate as stress free a transaction as possible.

Mike (husband) is a licensed building contractor and since relocating has also become a licensed Home Inspector with ASHI (http://www.ashi.org/).  I find him an invaluable asset when we have questions over structural, building, etc. issues!

Hi, and a little background --Marvin (below in the red cap and hard at work!) retired from the FAA in 1987 and when I was able to take advantage of an early-out from the Federal Government in 1993 we decided to relocate from Charles Town, WV and friends suggested we visit the Hendersonville NC area. We had never been to this "neck of the woods" before, but, were immediately impressed and have never regretted the quick decision that Hendersonville would be our next home.  We are very happy with the small town feel of the Henderson County community, the beauty of the western North Carolina mountains and friendliness of the people.  It just feels like home!

After settling in, I decided to go back to school.   One thing led to another and now here I am, (since 1996) engaged in a second career and enjoying it!  I enjoy working with people, utilizing my computer and especially enjoy being able to provide a useful service and help relieve some of the stress of the home selling/buying experience for my clients and customers.

After 12 years working actively with sellers/buyers in Henderson County it is now necessary for me to work more from home due to some medical issues with Marvin.  So, I am now working as Robin's licensed Web Assistant and Webmaster effective March 2007.  I will still handle listings for Robin in the Dana Hill Community where Marvin and I have lived since 1994.

I am a member of the Hendersonville Board of Realtors which has joined with other local Multiple Listing Service's to form the Western NC Regional MLS.  I also acquired the National Association of REALTOR's® (NAR) Certification as an e-Pro (Internet Savvy) graduate.
